Located in a small farmhouse from the 18th century, the gite has a capacity of up to six people. In a green surrounding, it is located in an old barn that has been totally renovated. You will enjoy the open spacing with all modern comforts. Close by, you will find local shops, farm produces and a multitude of tourist attractions to visit. Whether you are on a business trip, passing by for family reasons, or simply on holiday or a short break, the best of welcomes is awaiting you here. The owner will be pleased to help you out as needed during your stay.

The house must be made as clean as when you arrived. Household includes complete cleaning showers, sinks, toilets, kitchen units and the vacuuming in the rooms, stairs and living room. For stays longer than 5 days, soil washing will also be requested. If you do not want to deal with this task, a cleaning fee is offered at 30 €.
Adolphine Beugnet was born in this farmhouse in 1866 and lived here all her life until her last days in 1965.
She was known to the local villagers as “Fifine”.
Throughout her 99 years she had seen many pass through ! During the Great War, she was host to French, English and Canadian soldiers…injured from their battles on the front lines only a few kilometres away. To this day the graffiti on the walls of the barn are still witness to this period. The gite is therefore, a historic place full of stories, so giving her name to the gite, was the natural thing to do.

Abbaye du Mont Saint Eloi
Visibles depuis le gîte, les ruines de l'ancienne abbaye dominent le paysage. Cet édifice du début du 18ème siècle fut détruit à la révolution française et les tours bombardées par les allemands en 1914 et 1915. Des fouilles sont entreprises depuis quatre ans et les objets trouvés sont présentés au point d'info touristique à la salle Hamilton au pied des tours.
Les pierres du diable
A 500 mètres face au gîte, en plein milieu des champs, les deux menhirs appelés "pierres du diable" ou "pierres jumelles" ont été érigées en 862, en souvenir des victoires remportées sur le roi de France Charles le Chauve. De nombreuses légendes accompagnent ces deux blocs de gré de 3 et 4 mètres de hauteur que l'on peut visiter toute l'année.
L'église d'Ecoivres
Au centre du village, l'église porte sur son clochet construit en 1605, une flèche à crochets qui sont des statuettes représentants des bêtes sauvages et les moines qui les chassèrent. A découvrir également, les vieilles fermes, la Scarpe (rivière) et les murs de l'ancien château.
Le mémorial de Vimy
L'Artois fut le théâtre de nombreuses batailles dont celles qui opposèrent les armées françaises, canadiennes, anglaises.... aux allemands durant la première guerre mondiale. L'une des plus meurtrière fut celle de la crête de Vimy. Un mémorial s'y dresse à l'endroit même où périrent des milliers de soldats.
